Lynne Bosley | President
Lynne Bosley was named President of the United Way of Elgin in October 2001. She has spent her entire career in the United Way system, serving as President of United Way of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green for 11 years during which the organization grew from a small local fundraiser to a five-county regional operation raising over $2 million. She began her career as Campaign Director for United Way of the Ohio Valley. She currently serves on the United Way of Illinois board of directors and is chair of the Illinois Association of United Way Executives. In addition, she is a board member of the Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Elgin Police Chief’s Citizens’ Advisory Committee and the Elgin Gang Prevention and Intervention Task Force.

Diane O'Connor | Director of Community Impact
Diane O’Connor joined the United Way of Elgin staff in January 2005 as Director of Community Impact. She has 20 years of in-depth experience and leadership skills in the United Way system, including three years as the Executive Director of the Fox Valley United Way and previously she was the Director of Communications/Marketing for the Fox Valley United Way, United Way of America’s Mid-America Regional Director, and Marketing/Campaign Assistant for the United Way of the Black Hills in Rapid City, South Dakota. She currently serves on the Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce Workforce Development committee and the Greater Elgin Area YMCA’s Pioneering Healthier Communities Leadership Team. Christina Pearson | Office Manager
Christina Pearson joined the United Way of Elgin team in April 2007 as the Office Manager. Prior to her United Way career she was employed by Stock Building Supply. She is a recent business graduate from Northern Illinois University. Contact Christina for general information, questions regarding accounts receivable, and pledge processing.
Elissa Kojzarek | Resource Dev. and Special Initatives Manager
Elissa Kojzarek joined United Way of Elgin in 2008 as an intern and 2009 became full time as the Resource Development and Special Initiatives Manager. Elissa graduated from Iowa State University in 2004. She went on to work for the USDA in Ames, Iowa for 3 years. She then attended Northern Illinois University and graduated with a Master of Public Administration degree with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management in 2009. Elissa is excited to join United Way of Elgin full-time and continue to work toward building a better community in Elgin.
